    Gray track resistance in HGTR KTP (KTiOPO4) Crystals is significantly higher than in flux-produced KTP. In comparison to ordinary KTP crystals which are flux or hydrothermally grown, HGTR KTP crystals are grown from unique modified fluxes and heat treatment, imparting them with immunity to gray track damage, which could be seriously interrupting for high-power applications.

    Shanghai North Optics offers the High Gray Track Resistance KTP crystals (HGTR KTP), with no detrimental absorption for high repetition/high power SHG at 1064nm or OPO of 532nm pumped light source. The crystals are optimized for high-power laser systems which require substantially efficient conversion and durability, providing elevated overall performance than regular flux-grown KTP crystals.
